Our Team

Since its establishment in the mid-seventies, the Jamiat has gradually been growing and spreading its wings. By the grace of Allah, over the period of the last four decades, the Jamiat has established a very good network of Masaajid/centers in the UK, where the number of its affiliates has gone beyond 45.

The Jamiat as an organization has the following structure:

1. The Advisory Council

2. The Executive Council

3. The Trustees

The Advisory Council (Majlis Shura) is made of the local management of the Jamiat’s affiliates. Its main function includes the election of the trustees, overseeing the Jamiat’s direction in terms of its religious, educational and social activities. The council also advises the Jamiat on various contemporary issues. The Advisory Council’s meetings are held twice a year.

The Executive Council (Majlis Aamila) holds the responsibility of preparing the plans for the Jamiat’s educational, religious and social activities. It is also responsible for producing the annual budget, overlooking the finance and raising funds. Therefore, it is considered the most active body within the Jamiat. The Executive Council consists of about 20 members including the following posts holders:
